About Apple “MFi”

“MFi” is short for “Made for iPod” / “Made for iPhone” / “Made for iPad”. It is actually an certification that Apple provide for its third party accessories. With this certification , authorized third party factories or distributors are allowed to print the MFi logo on their product package. The latest version of MFi logo is style of black lettering on white background , while the old version, is both black lettering on white background（still “Made for iPod” ）and white lettering on black background （"Work with iPhone"（discarded since Jan 1st 2010））.
